The Abel Heywood is a stylish boutique hotel located in the heart of the Northern Quarter, Manchester’s former industrial turned bustling shopping, art and entertainment district. Surrounded by classic, iconic red brick buildings and former warehouses turned apartments and just a short distance from all of the main shopping areas, entertainment and sports venues, The Abel Heywood’s boutique hotel is the ideal place to stay for a short break.
The rooms in the boutique hotel are furnished to a very high standard, mixing modern facilities with a unique design that gives our guests a perfectly comfortable stay.
Our Pub & Restaurant is full of character and warmth throughout and contrasts the styles of a classic Victorian London pub with the bohemian arty character of the Northern Quarter. Here you will find a fine collection of ales including those brewed locally by our parent company Hydes and The Beer Studio, craft world beers, a fantastic range of Gins and spectacular cocktails. We serve food from morning to night with our brunch dishes amongst the finest in the city, we serve brunch until 12pm and then our British inspired menu is available all day until 10pm.

We are also within a short walk of Manchester Arena, The Apollo, and the Academy and close to the tram stations taking you to all of Manchester’s famous sporting arenas.
